Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You add a card at checkout and nothing is charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the monthly price of the plan you chose is charged automatically, unless you cancel before day 7. We email you when the trial starts, with the charge date and amount, and again 3 days before the first charge. Each account can use the free trial once.
Yes, from this page. Upgrades apply right away: during the trial nothing is charged and the new price starts when the trial ends; on a paid plan the prorated difference for the rest of the month is charged immediately, and if that payment fails your plan stays as it was. Downgrades: the lower price starts on your next billing date, the smaller link limit applies as soon as you switch, and you first need to delete links until you are within it. Plans cannot be changed after you cancel; email [email protected] if you change your mind.
Cancel from the plan card on your account page. Cancelling stops the next charge, and your plan keeps working until the end of the trial or of the month you paid for. After that — including when a renewal payment has still not gone through by then — links created on your plan stop redirecting and show a notice page, and you cannot create new links. If you never paid (say you cancelled during the free trial), you go back to the free limits instead: 5 new links, and links stop redirecting 30 days after they were created. A failed payment on its own does not cut your access: while there is still time left on the month you paid for, everything keeps working as Stripe retries. Nothing is deleted, your statistics stay available, and paused links redirect again as soon as you subscribe.
The free trial is how you try amz.do before paying: cancel before day 7 and you are never charged. Payments, renewals and downgrades are not refunded, except where the law requires it or we charged you by mistake. Details on the legal page.

No. Plans count links, not clicks. Statistics exclude identified crawlers and bots, and the bot share is shown on your statistics page so you can see what was filtered.
